The vision: a tablet operating system that grows with a child — curated, parent-controlled, teaching from age 2 all the way to 18.

Visions are cheap, so I built the first slice: a complete, playable age-2 experience in a browser tablet simulator. Two apps — Puzzles, with five distinct interaction mechanics across nine content units and progress tracking, and World, for exploring — plus a picture-book player with narration.

Filling a children’s app with content used to require a studio. I generated 527 assets — illustrations in a consistent style, hundreds of narration clips in two voices — and animated them: characters that move, scenes that respond, a world that feels alive under a toddler’s fingers. Two in-app layout editors place it all. The pedagogy isn’t improvised either: the design leans on a corpus of Piaget-based developmental research I assembled first.

Building it was also a crash course in image generation and animation. Generating hundreds of objects in one consistent style — and then animating them — forced me to actually learn those pipelines: prompting for consistency, batching generation, and turning static images into motion. I came out knowing more than any tutorial could have taught me. And yes — it’s cute. Deliberately, unapologetically cute. Try it on this page.
